It’s time to unwind at Amsterdam’s next unconference; ‘Barcamp‘ where you’ll find the best of everything Open Source, Web 2.0, Podcasting, Blogging, web services, tools and tricks. Meet the makers, designers and evangelists of everything cool in the world of new web services.

May 19th to 21st is Barcamp Amsterdam II; the second Barcamp ‘unconference’ to take place in the city over at Mediamatic. The first was back on October 05 when the unconference movement was relatively new and it’s hoped the second will draw an even larger crowd of local & international geeks.

“BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.” Oh and it’s free; all that is asked of
attendees is that they participate in some way.

Barcamp originates from California; its very “Internet Famous” proponents Chris Messina and Tara Hunt have helped spread barcamp worldwide in recent months. If you have the chance to participate in a Barcamp near you; I’d seriously recommend it.
