Paris: Homeless Tents

You are seeing short-term housing for homeless people. The New York Times sees a trend due to immigration and unemployment. And the Los Angeles Times? It sees a cute alternative to the Ritz. A posting today on Susan Spano’s consistently stupid “Postcards from Paris” blog on that paper’s website reads, in its entirety:

This is conceivably the best place to sleep in Paris, except when it rains.

It would be a modern-day version of “Let them eat cake.” If the writer even knew who occupied the tents. Thanks to Advice Goddess Amy Alkon for the tip; she still has the stomach to read Spano, and rips her a new trou de cul.
