Paris – The President’s Museum
The Musée du Quai Branly is now open for criticism. Widely seen as French President Chirac’s bid for a legacy, the museum is  gargantuan in size and controversial in purpose: designed by Jean Nouvel, the new edifice is mean to showcase the arts  of non-European civilisations and to offer France’s immigrants – in the words of the Presdient – a place to see their cultures proudly displayed. See for yourself.
When: 10am-6.30pm Tues-Sun 10am-9.30pm
Where: 27-51 quai Branly   Métro Alma-Marceau  phone   +33 1 56 61 70 00
