Vienna: Life as a Refugee

Posted on September 22, 2006

More than 35 million people on the planet are trying to escape war, violence or repression.

The exhibition "Life on the Run" shows in 10 tents what daily life in refugee camps looks like and how "Ärzte ohne Grenzen" (Médecins Sans Frontières) helps.

Refugee Exhibiton. (Ärzte ohne Grenzen)

The exhibition lets you explore the shelters of refugees in different regions of the world. You can see how thousands of people can be supplied with water and food. You can put together food rations, try to make drinks for cholera patients or how to test the water quality. You can see how malnourished children are accustomed to food again and how really easy medical methods help a lot of people.
